Mochi von Lee is a gorgeous 20 month old German Shepherd mix. She may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but she warms up in no time. Once she settles in, she is affectionate, people-oriented, and enjoys being close to her person. Indoors, Mochi is very calm and easygoing. She loves chewing on her own toys, but she does not chew on furniture or other household items. Mochi does well with dogs of different sizes and is also has been good around cats and children. (we will retest her with cats again at the rescue) She enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs and has done well at both daycare and boarding. She would be happy either as an only dog or as a second dog. She is smart and learns new tricks very quickly. Mochi has never shown aggression or even growled. She loves going on walks and exploring new places, and she is generally easy to walk. When she gets excited, she may start to pull, but she responds quickly when you redirect her, change direction, or give her a correction. Her overall energy level is very manageable, and regular walks along with some playtime, such as playing ball, are usually enough to keep her happy and satisfied. She enjoys food but is not overly food-driven and does not constantly bother people for food. She can even be free-fed because she naturally stops eating when she is full. Overall, Mochi is a smart, affectionate, adaptable, and gentle dog who could fit well into many different types of households. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm dog at home who still enjoys walks, playtime, and exploring outside.
